Questions, answered

A calm place to start.

These answers cover the practical details most makers want before choosing a course.

Do I need previous sewing experience?

No. Begin with Studio Sampler, Pattern Reading Studio, or Linen First Doll if you are new to sewing. Each explains the vocabulary and hand stitches used later.

What supplies are needed?

Every catalog entry lists a focused materials set. Most courses use fabric, thread, a needle, scissors, stuffing, and paper. We avoid large mandatory supply lists.

Are the courses self-paced?

Yes. Durations describe a comfortable rhythm rather than a deadline. You can repeat a lesson, pause between sessions, and return to your Stitch Map.

How do I choose my level?

Beginner courses introduce tools and construction. Intermediate courses assume basic hand stitching. Advanced courses focus on proportion, pose, and original design decisions.

What is Fallows?

Fallows is your saved-course list. Select Save to Fallows in the catalog and the course ID is stored locally in your browser for later review.

How does the cart work?

Add courses to the cart, adjust quantities on the Cart page, and review the displayed total. The preview confirmation is local because no live payment service is connected.

Can I ask for accessibility support?

Yes. Contact the studio with the format or access detail that would help you participate, and we will discuss a practical option.

Can I sell dolls made from a course?

Personal creative practice and small-scale finished work may be possible, but course patterns and lesson materials themselves may not be resold or redistributed. Contact us if your use is commercial.
